The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, Faith’s Forum for London and Faith Associates are holding an event on Wednesday 7th August 2019 at 18.30 at City Hall on the Government’s Place of Worship Protection Scheme.

The event will enable attendees to learn more about the places of worship funding scheme and ask questions on how to complete the applications. You can register your attendance here:

Description

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), Faith’s Forum for London and Faith Associates would like to invite London’s inter-faith leaders to attend an event which discusses the Government’s Places of Worship Protection Fund.

The Government’s Places of Worship Protection Fund was launched in July 2019 and bids for funding can be submitted on 31 August 2019. You can find more information about the fund here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/places-of-worship-security-funding-scheme

Attendees will be given the opportunity to learn more about the fund from the Government’s Counter Extremism Unit and ask questions about the process.

21:15 – End of event

Places are limited. Please ensure you are representing a place of worship to attend this event.
