British Red Cross Luton are supporting refugees in the area. Can you help with supplies or some of your time?
I’ve attached a list – any or all of the items are welcomed, tins etc (not fresh) can be dropped off anytime 9-5 from Tuesday – Friday but ideally most things (and fresh items) need to get to us before 10am on a Monday as this is our drop-in day when we distribute food.  Donations should be taken to 232 Dunstable Rd, Bury Park, Luton
For those would like to volunteer with us we need people for –
Monday drop-in – 9/9.30 – 2/2.30

Sewing classes – Tuesdays fortnightly

Our next sewing group sessions will be from 10.30-12.30 and on these dates –
23rd OCT
6th NOV
20th NOV
4th DEC
We’re asking for donations of fabric/sewing equipment/trimmings (buttons, binding, lace, zips etc) and old bed sheets/pillow cases to use as quilting backing/sewing machine practice.
If anyone is interested please give Lucy a call on 01582 589086.
Many thanks,
