We know we are called to “disciple nations”, but what does that look like here in the British Isles?

Dear friends,
We would like to invite you to join us as we explore this question during “To Disciple A Nation”, an event from 25th to 27th October at YWAM Harpenden. Together we will be seeking a Biblical perspective on discipling nations and grappling with the task of doing that today in the British Isles.
To Disciple A Nation is not intended to be a stage-driven event seeking large numbers, but rather to gather those interested around this common task – so that we can learn, discuss, connect and encounter God together. The event will include input from Bob Moffitt co-founder of Disciple the Nations Alliance who will share with us on the topic of discipling nations, as well as from other local speakers and practitioners.
We will be asking questions like:
What does discipling the nations mean? How is a nation discipled?
What is happening in the British Isles? What would the Kingdom of God look like in our nation?
Is the church discipling our nation or is it discipling us?
Are we being obedient and effective in our task?
How can we practically and effectively align ourselves with the task of discipling our nation?
How can we engage with the different spheres society, such as business, government, education, media and the arts?
This event is open to all, and if you are willing, please share the attached e-flyer with your churches and others who you feel might be interested in joining us at this event. You can find more information and register via our web-page at http://ywamharpenden.org/to-disciple-a-nation/. I can also be contacted at the email address or number below.
