I’m writing to tell you about our new Safeguarding and Prejudice training developed by FACES.
The training will explore how we can better identify, understand and manage different manifestations of prejudice, particularly in regards to how we percieve abuse and victims, and how we create appropriate responses.
There are very limited spaces available on this free pilot session.
Date: Thursday 12th September
Location: Hope Church Luton, Villa Road, LU2 7NT
Booking: Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register interest
Last month we introduced some of these themes at our conference. This training seeks to further explore harmful perceptions and nuances present within safeguarding approaches, in order to better understand and manage prejudice and reduce the impact it has on safeguarding.
The session will be CPD accredited and is funded by Near Neighbours.
