“Love that dares to speak”
Probably the most difficult and emotive subjects facing the church today are the questions around sexuality and especially same sex relationships. The book “Undivided” by the singer Vicky Beeching has recently provided a personal account of the difficult journey taken by an evangelical Christian as she comes to fully accept who she is. The Church of England is being called to be radically inclusive at this time but many of us are still struggling with this issue.
We are running a 4 week course which will hopefully provide a safe space for those of different views to come together to explore this issue in the safe and prayerful space of the All Saints Lady chapel. The sessions are based on Hilary Brands new book “Love that dares to speak its name” and participants may like to purchase this here.
We hope this will be of interest to church members across the town / deanery but we will need to put a limit on numbers so please register your interest by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your place. The sessions are planned to run from 7.30-9.00, Monday 22nd October, Monday 29th October, November [5th / 6th], Monday November 12th.
