We are now rapidly approaching the weekend of our fourth MissionALL conference, hosted at Stopsley Baptist Church and organised jointly by St Hughs, Lewsey; Hope Church and SBC under the auspices of Churches Together in Luton. I hope you will know that these times are designed to equip church leaders and everyday believers to live missional lives, to be effective gospel carriers. The weekend begins with a celebration in worship on Friday March 10th and continues with a conference day on Saturday March 11th.
This year our theme is ‘Influence’. Whether we seek to be influential or not, we inevitably leave an impression as we go about our everyday lives. Specifically we are focusing on spheres of culture, learning about particular areas of society like politics, the arts, family life, health, education and the media that tend to shape the world. Andy Flannagan, our main speaker this year, is passionate about Kingdom influence in society. He is a songwriter, worship leader, writer and activist involved particularly within politics.
We hope that small fellowships will develop out of this year’s conference within each of the spheres. They will form to encourage and pray, to learn and to provoke formally on occasion but as a network that will live and breathe and find its expression in local life for the sake of the Kingdom of God.
We believe that whoever you are this year’s conference will be stimulating and valuable in assisting the church to grow its influence…and we would love you to be there.
- Would you please publicise the conference among your people? The Friday evening celebration is a free event, but the day on Saturday is ticketed at £10 in advance or £15 on the door. Tickets are available through our website, www.missionall.org.uk or contact me on email@example.com
- As a church leader we would like to invite you to come and share a meal with us before the evening celebration on Friday March 10th at 6.30pm. Please reply to firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place or call 01582 727352.
We really hope you will be able to join us and spread the word,
