“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest therefore to send out workers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:38)

We are going to be doing just that at the annual town-wide PRAYER EVENT on Sunday 18th February 2018, 7 pm at St Hugh’s

Flyers should be available at your church shortly – please find one attached in the meantime.

During that evening we will be

  1. praying for people who are caught up in homelessness, poverty, addiction, mental health challenges, sexual exploitation and being marginalised.
  2. praying for the followers of Jesus who are working directly with people caught up in these issues and who are working in the spheres of education, health and social care, government and politics, arts and media, family, business and commerce, and faith and religion.
  3. praying for FRESH – the town-wide mission on May 19th – 20th.

Do put that date in your diaries and come along to pray with the wider body of believers in Jesus for our town.

If you work directly with people caught up in the issues above, do let us know what you think are the major pointers for prayer…
