SOS Bus Luton is looking for an outstanding individual to join us as the Bus Coordinator, responsible for arranging and planning all SOS Bus activities across Luton and Bedfordshire. This is a part-time, 20hr p/w position.

SOS Bus Luton is a project managed by The Safer Luton Partnership to primarily aid and support people who find themselves vulnerable in Luton Town Centre on Friday and Saturday nights – thereby helping to reduce violent crime, personal injury and anti-social behaviour in the town centre.

In a secondary capacity, the bus provides first aid support to community events throughout Bedfordshire.

We conduct this work with a bank of excellent community volunteers who are qualified first aiders.

Your role as SOS Bus Co-ordinator will be to develop, promote, manage and coordinate all the roles and functions of the SOS BUS Luton project and adhere to reporting and assessment procedures. You will also be responsible for recruiting, training and managing our volunteer staff.
