VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Mass Covid Vaccination sites

Grassroots have received the email below from the Local Resilience Forum requesting volunteers to assist with a mass vaccination site, one of which will be set up from 7th December.

Hi,

I am coordinating the availability of BLEVEC and BLRF members who are available to volunteer at mass Covid vaccination sites. I will then pass the information to the person who is organising the staffing of the sites, they will then be in touch with you to inform you of when and where you are needed. I need individual responses not an organisation saying we can provide X volunteers. As yet we don’t have full role descriptions however it is likely to be stewarding both indoors and outside and some admin support.

Current information is that we will need volunteers to help with the mass vaccination programme at vaccination stations that will be set up in our local area from Monday 7^th December 2020. The first site is due to be in Luton so we especially need volunteers from 7^th who can volunteer in Luton.
