The Difference Course in Luton
How to make your relationships bigger than your difference!
Churches Together in Luton is encouraging as many Christians in Luton to take part in the ‘Difference’ Course over Lent 2026.
The Difference Course explores what it means to follow Jesus in a complex and divided world. It equips participants to cross divides, navigate disagreement and pursue a just and flourishing world.
It is a course that has come out of the Reconciling Leaders Network,  a national initiative of the Church of England.  It is our hope that these will be the first of many such courses run in Luton in order for us to live well in our very diverse town.
Some 8 – 10 courses will be running in Luton this Lent, most run by churches for their own members.
If you would like to take part in the ‘Difference’ course and your own church isn’t running the course, you can either encourage your church to run the course (training can be provided and all materials are available online).  or you can take part in a course that is open to all:

    • In person, Wednesday mornings,  11.00am
At St Mary’s Luton starting Wednesday 18th February throughout Lent.  The course will be based on the short regular service with a devotional mesage followed by small groups.
A small amount of parking available first come first served, otherwise parking on Power Court opposite.
      No need to sign up.

Youthscape will also be running the course for teenagers, on Thursdays, 7 pm – 9 pm, starting 19th February. Any teenager from any church is welcome – contact Youthscape for details.
All are welcome!!
