Launch of Mum2Mum hub – also looking for volunteer helpers

posted in: Blog | 0

World of Faith Centre on Alma Street are launching their Mum2Mum Hub on Wednesday 17 January, 11am to 12:30pm as a safe space for parents to connect with each other, get support, and find out information – (flyer attached).

They have been working with The Princess Project who have successfully set up these provisions in Kent and Chesterfield. Check out their YouTube Channel to hear testimonials from families and volunteers who have benefited from the project – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRlmTBMhvC1nXD2HfRs8laQ/about

Following the launch, the Hub space will be open every Wednesday during term time, 10am to 12:30pm. These sessions are open for people to drop-in, and are welcome to attend with or without their little one(s).

They already have a team of passionate and skilled volunteers to help run the hub space, but are looking to grow their team so all attendees can be given attention and support while in the space.

Please get in touch with the team on mum2mumhubltc@wofc.org.uk if you’d like to find out more or get involved.

Please share this information with your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues!
