Luton Baby Bank needs premises

One of our ministers has been working with the following organisation and asks if anyone is able to help.
Luton Baby Bank needs premises  (or an umbrella org to take it over)
I’ve been running the baby bank from my own home now for nearly 2 years. I’m busting out of the available space and desperately need alternative premises.
The baby bank provides free – mostly second-hand – baby/toddler+ resources to families who need them. Families are referred by health visitors and other health/social care professionals, or by charities/orgs working with vulnerable groups.
Due to the wide range of equipment and goods that the baby bank offers, and the nature of the task (lots of cleaning; sorting; fixing up buggies; assembling cots; etc etc), the minimum requirements are fairly substantial – approx:
40sq m
Dry (can’t keep baby stuff in damp conditions!)
Electricity
Mains water
Potential for plumbing a washing machine in
Reasonable access for health/social care professionals ie on-site or nearby parking
Please, if you can, take a few minutes to consider whether you know of any possible premises, or of any organisation which might consider taking the baby bank on.
Please feel free to forward this email to other people who might be able to help.
Very many thanks,
Cathy Bove
