I’m the Head of Operations at KidsOut, a children’s charity supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse.
With Christmas approaching, we are looking for volunteers in Luton to help us in our warehouse in Luton preparing and packing 6,000 Christmas toy boxes for children who might otherwise have very little to look forward to.
We’re particularly keen to reach local people, community groups, businesses and organisations who may be able to give a few hours of their time, either regularly or as part of a group volunteering day.
I wondered whether this might be something you or your team could help us with?
. We’d also be very happy to explore whether there is a wider local story around Luton volunteers coming together to help bring Christmas to disadvantaged children. I’d be very happy to provide further information or arrange a short visit to the warehouse if that would be useful.
