This is Paul Fowler from the Luton London Airport Chaplaincy.
I just wanted to thank you for responding to our appeal for Bibles to be used in The Multi-Faith Prayer Rooms at the Airport. We had a good response from a number of local churches and wanted to make a public announcement to thank them, they do know who they are and we are very grateful, but do not feel it appropriate to name them.
One of the reasons for taking this approach is that our appeal continues for Bibles. We are particularly interested in an English Bible translation that members of evangelical churches would find comfortable reading. We are also interested in Bibles in European Languages. Luton Airport has flights all over Europe plus North Africa and the Near Middle East. We would be grateful if any Church felt able to provide us with Bibles in European Languages, plus, of course, the English Language Bibles mentioned earlier. We only need two of each Bible (one for the Airside Prayer Room and one for the Landside Prayer Room).
If anyone would like to help, please contact me via pf3353@aol.com (my personal email) or paul.fowler@ltn.aero (my work email)
We would be most grateful,
In Christ,
Paul Fowler
