Community sport and physical activity day for all ages and abilities comes to St George’s Square
Luton Council will be hosting a community sport and physical activity day in St Geroge’s Square on Saturday 7 September from 11am to 3pm. This event is to encourage residents to be more active, find out what is being done to help residents to be more active locally and to further understand the barriers to physical activity within the town.
The event will feature stalls from various local and community organisations, such as Total Wellbeing Luton, Active Luton, Luton Town Community Trust, Goodgym, ABCD Luton, Edible High Town and Penrose Roots. Luton Council’s public health team will also be in attendance, asking for views on their sport and physical activity strategic delivery plan.
