Winter Fire Festival – Christian Rap, Hip Hop and modern Worship 24th January

Jan 24th we are having winter fire festival at St Hugh’s. It’s a time of celebration using Christian rap hip hop and modern worship. We encourage the community to come out and join us as the body of Christ unites in some new and refreshing ways.

God gave me the vision to bring Christian rap to the culture so we can glorify God. We have another artist named Isaac of potters house church who has travelled all over the uk preaching his message through this kind of music. God showed me rap and hip hop allows a space for testimonies to be shared. Although praise and worship music is full of testimony of Jesus, rap allows for a lot more words to be said. Rap has been used over the generations to tell stories. How much more impactful is it to use rap and hip hop to tell stories about God. We also have the worship team leading us in modern worship songs we all know in love to finish the night strong.  We are encouraging the youth and parents (if needed) to sign up!
