The breakdown of the ceasefire in the Holy Land, and the massive bombardment of Gaza over the last few days and resulting massive loss of life has taken the war in that territory to a new place that hardly seems justified in any reasonable argument. As the executive of Churches Together in Luton, we would endorse the Archbishop of York’s statement, and as well as urging churches in Luton to pray for all in the Holy Land we would urge our government to work for a just peace for all of its residents.
