This year, Youthscape has launched a new discipleship project for teenage girls in Luton called Abide. As part of the programme, we are running a conference day on Saturday 18th July for teenage girls in years 7-13 across the churches in Luton to come together in community and grow in their faith.We are excited to gather the next generation of women in the church, to pour into them and encourage them as they follow Jesus today. The theme for this year’s conference is Her Foundation and we will be unpacking how God’s love and our faith can impact the other areas of our lives, particularly school, friendships, mental health etc.Location: Luton Christian Fellowship (LCF), 101 Castle Street, Luton, LU1 3ALDate: Saturday 18th July 2026Time: 11am-4pmIt will be an interactive, creative, and fun day led by girls, for girls. Food will be provided and every attendee will receive a goodie bag. We have an Instagram and TikTok account (@girlsthatabide) that the girls can follow to keep up to date on the exciting things coming up on the day. We are also looking for Christian women from a range of ages and backgrounds to volunteer on the day in a variety of roles including welcome team, registration, ushering, hospitality, media, worship, and prayer ministry. The event will be running from 11am-4pm but we will be asking team members to be available to help set up and clear up. Volunteers will also need to hold a valid DBS. If you are bringing young people from your church, we do require a female leader from your youth team to be there on the day.”Looking forward to hearing from you.
