I work with the NHS and we are looking for people to work with us on increasing blood pressure management. We are starting with the Black African population, but are hoping to cover most of Luton in the end. We have picked this population because the consultants at the hospital pointed out that they suffer the most after heart attacks and strokes and we then looked at the GP data to see if the blood pressure was well managed and it is not. We hope that by working with the residents we can better manage blood pressure and reduce more serious health issues.
